RISC-V allows design freedom. RISC-V allows customization. Codasip offers customizable RISC-V IP and tools to efficiently explore, design, and customize this IP. But you may ask: why and how would I customize a processor? Should I start from scratch instead of optimizing an existing design? Is it easy to migrate from my fixed Arm processor to a tailored RISC-V processor? What about the compiler? And the debugger? Are there risks of fragmentation with customization and RISC-V?
