Secure by design

What does ‘secure by design’ mean?

“Secure-by-design” is the antithesis of the approach where a product is designed and then security is added as an afterthought.

In secure-by-design, we build security into the product right from the start.

Secure-by-design is an approach to both software and hardware development. Secure-by-design is both technology and process. It is the analysis of the risks leading to the selection of security features followed by the application of rigorous design methodology to implement the whole design.

Why have secure by design processors?

Incorporating robust security features and considerations into the design and architecture of a processor provides a strong foundation for secure computing systems. This approach helps mitigate common security vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and provide a robust defense against a wide range of security threats and attacks.
